Calgary Flames Foundation support will prioritize the procurement of roller sleds for clinics in Calgary. These clinics will be a combination of roller sled and on-ice sledge hockey clinics in partnership with PX3 AMP Sports Academy. The goal of the program is to encourage participation in adaptive sports and hockey among youth with existing or recently acquired physical disabilities

Chris was recognized as one of Shaw's 150 Outstanding Individuals as someone who goes above and beyond to make a difference in the lives of Canadian children and youth.

Cowboys N Sleds

2018

Cowboys 'N Sleds was an event created to continue the healing process by bringing people together and promoting agencies and services that responded and assisted in the Humbolt Broncos tragedy on April 6th, 2018. This charity event raised over $40 000 for Stars Air Ambulance and StrazStrong Foundation.

Team Canada

2011-2019

Chris started playing Sledge Hockey in 2011 and made the development team shortly after getting into a sled. He quickly moved to Team Captain of the Canada's Development Team and later moved onto Team Canada. It was here that he participated on the international stage and brought home a Silver Medal at the 2015 World Championships. In 2014 he was the first alternate for the Sochi Olympic Games.

First Amputee to Compete in the Fire Fit Challenge

2014

Chris was the first above knee amputee to work as a Fire Fighter industry in North America and the only above knee fire fighter to compete in the Fire Fit Challenge.
